Timelapse production
Filming that compresses processes lasting hours, days or months into minutes. For installation, construction and power plant projects.
Compressing time, making the process visible
Timelapse production shows how a construction site, an installation or a single day changes over time by compressing long-form footage.
Change the eye can't see becomes clear in a few seconds: the sun crossing a power plant, a facility rising piece by piece, the daily rhythm of a site.
The solar plant timelapse I produced for TRT tells the story of one day at a plant, from sunrise to midnight. Timelapse is often planned together with drone filming; aerial footage at regular intervals documents a project's progress.
What I produce
The three storytelling forms timelapse is used for most.

Daily cycle
One day at a facility or site, from sunrise to midnight, compressed into minutes.

Construction and installation
Long-form capture at regular intervals that documents an installation over weeks or months, for project reporting and promotional films.

Combined with drone
An edit that brings ground-level timelapse and aerial shots together to show both the scale and the process of a project.

Process
Every project goes through the same four steps, with one point of contact from brief to delivery.
Subject and duration
We define what will be filmed, for how long and at what intervals.
Camera position
Positions are chosen that tell the site best, stay out of the workflow and are safe.
Capture
Footage is captured over the planned period, with drone inserts if needed.
Edit and color
Footage is compressed, color and light transitions are balanced, and the film is delivered with music.

FAQ
What is timelapse filming?
Filming a long process at set intervals and turning it into an accelerated video; hours, days or months fit into a few minutes.
How long does the capture take?
It depends on the subject: a day's cycle is captured in a single day, while an installation or construction is filmed at regular intervals over weeks or months.
Can it be combined with drone footage?
Yes. Ground-level timelapse and drone footage captured at regular intervals can be combined in one film to show both the scale and the process.
Which formats are delivered?
Scenes for use inside a promotional film, short versions for social media and long versions for project reporting.
